Thanet Press Ltd derives directly from one of the great names of the British Printing Industry - Eyre and Spottiswoode, originally established in 1770 and the first printers and publishers of the King James Authorised version of the Bible.

The company was acquired out of receivership by The Baird Group in October 1995 and has since undertaken a major capital investment programme.
